MAJOR FUNCTION:

Responsible for performing information technology related audits at all MEMC locations.  Perform independent testing of the key controls and remediation of issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Conduct complex reviews of the company’s information technology systems.
  
• Document and evaluate the company’s information technology internal controls. Interview personnel and prepare internal control narratives, questionnaires and flowcharts
  
• Develop internal audit programs and ensure audits are performed as planned
  
• Prepare internal audit reports to communicate findings and recommend necessary corrective action and process improvements
  
• Supervise other members of the IT internal audit team (typically co-sourced auditors)
  
• Actively participate in meetings, voice opinion and concerns
  
• Support quarterly reviews and annual audit by providing supporting information and interacting with independent auditors
  
• Perform operational and financial audit assignments which typically includes examining the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls and operating procedures
  
• May provide training or act as a mentor to less experienced team members
  
• Participate in and provide other support, reports and analyses as requested

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related degree
  
• CPA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP designation highly desirable
  
• A minimum of two years of current and or recent experience in information systems auditing/ consulting (public or industry) including risk assessment, information security, general controls, application reviews, and operational efficiency improvements
  
• Strong knowledge of manual and automated systems in a manufacturing environment

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:

• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley preferred
  
• Domestic and International travel 20%

Past experience and affiliations with companies that use SAP
