Description:
Primary responsibilities are to research, design and develop software systems, software applications and tools for new programs as well as enhancements and modifications to existing software

This involves:

Supporting the software architect/lead in developing technical solutions to complex problems while adhering to prescribed CMMI software processes.
Designing and implementing embedded software using C and C++
Using version control and problem tracking tools such as ClearCase and ClearQuest
Requirements decomposition and traceability using DOORS.

Qualifications:

Bachelors and twelve plus years related experience in the following:Experience as an embedded software developer with strong skills in all phases of development, from requirements gathering through system test.
Embedded real-time software development experience using microcontrollers and digital signal processors
Embedded real-time hardware driver software development
Writing real-time embedded software using a commercial ROTS
Working knowledge of assembler, C, C++, and object-oriented software development.
Able to work in a lab environment using debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
A record of taking software products from concept to production.

Candidate must be a self-starter with strong organizational ability and strong written and verbal communications skills. Good interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in a concurrent product development team environment are required.

Must have US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required.
