Uline seeks a Sr. Manager – IBM i Systems at its Corporate Headquarters in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin (north of Chicago).

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the Power Systems (IBM i) infrastructure and daily functions of Power Systems engineering team.
• Ensure Power System platform meets business needs by being tuned and equipped to deliver peak season capacity for the business.
• Track and recommend renewals for all IBM i software licensed across all Power System LPARs.
• Provide project management for both internal and key business projects.
• Define processes and procedures to keep Power Systems platform updated on firmware, operating systems and application / system licensing.
• Define processes and procedures for maintaining the Power Systems equipment in multiple data center environments.
• Oversee, evaluate and deploy the design of system backups, operational monitoring tools, security policies and internal audit.
• Manage relationships with critical vendors.
• Travel to branch and international locations as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 10+ years management and technology experience.
• Strong background in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
• Prior experience with DataMirror, Replicate1 (Double-Take Share), MIMIX, CL Scripting and RPG programming.
• Ability to work in both strategic and operational situations.
• Strong mentoring skills with ability to delegate to others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
