- Lead the Accounting Center of Excellence with accountability for pan-Brand Analytics and Accounting processes.
- Partner across functions with business partners to ensure support of the achievement of strategic operating and financial goals.
- Standardize, innovate and increase value for accounting and finance services provide to the Brand and Corporate customers.
- Identify, Drive and Implement system and process improvement opportunities that will lead to a direct and measurable impact to bottom line results. 
 
 
Key responsibilities include:
 
Accounting/Controls

  • Provide oversight and review of accounts and accounting policies related to areas of responsibility

  • Ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the accounting and ongoing compliance with internal controls. 

  • Lead the relationship with the external auditors and ensure the integrity and accuracy of related external audit accounting support and schedules.

  • Provide support to Assistant Corporate Controller and LSA Controller in communicating financial results

  • Prepare insightful analysis that allows for proactive influence in decision making and leads to identification of business risks and opportunities

  • Provide performance reporting, metrics, and analysis of results.

  • Manage FP&A for areas of responsibility to ensure effective execution, standardization where applicable and achievement of goals, objectives and leadership expectations.

 
Management
  • Manage and develop the SSC Accounting Center of Excellence team, evaluating staffing, collaborating with the Sr. Director of the SSC to make necessary HR decisions, and setting expectations through the creation of clear accountability, goals and development plans.

  • Inspire, retain, and manage team performance through: Individual Development Plans, Monthly Coaching and recognizing individuals/team for major accomplishments and milestones.

  • Drive efficient and effective ways of working between SSC Accounting COE and cross functional business partners and internal customers.

  • Proactive management of team work including anticipating workload and timing and  providing guidance in prioritizing work to ensure performance objectives are met.

  • Provide proactive tracking of process and system improvement progress.




QUALIFICATIONS
 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
 
·        Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with
         various management levels. 

·        Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
·        Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing environment.
·        Proven track record of driving results and creative problem solving.
·        Strong accounting background with proven ability to understand and interpret and soundly 
         apply complex accounting concepts.

·        FP&A experience a plus.
·        Dynamic leader of people with advanced management and teambuilding skills.
 
Minimum educational level:
·        Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
·        CPA required
·        MBA a plus
 
Minimum Experience:
·        10+ years of related business experience, demonstrating increasing levels of 
         responsibility and leadership. 

·        Previous experience building and leading teams and driving improved business and process 
         improvements and measuring success through key performance indicators and management
         scorecards.

·        Public Accounting experience preferred.
