Job Description:
The program manager for the MPA/COMINT FMS program will manage the program's day-to-day operations and interface with the customer. This is a prime contract through the USG that delivers mission systems integration solutions to an international customer. In general, the program manager will:
- Provide strategic directions to the Program and all matrix functional supports who are responsible for day-to-day execution of the program. The Program Manager will focus on business operations, cost, schedule, quality, communications, and team dynamics.
- Partner with program managers/directors/all senior leaders to ensure successful execution of the program. Support financial forecasting & planning activities include forecasts, AOP and EAC. Decisions will have a make-or-break effect on the near-term success or failure, and seriously impact SAS and Raytheon's commitments to the shareholders.
- Responsible for hiring, promoting & developing a diverse talent pipeline employees performance development, program leadership, risk assessment/mitigation & achievement of program milestones.
- Maintain a strong relationship with the customer, specifically ensuring we are aligning with their needs and delivering on our commitments
- Act as the prime contractor for a mission systems integration program, ensuring proper management of various subcontractors and any Raytheon partners
- Responsible for the results and effectiveness of the programs short and long-term success.
- Manage all aspects of the funded contract, including detailed management of cost and performance
- Recognize negative issues and initiate timely corrective actions to remedy issues
- Interact with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, other contractor personnel, other Raytheon businesses partnering with SAS on this effort, and customers in a complex team setting
- Conduct periodic briefings to management
Basic Qualifications: 12 years of direct work experience to include the following:
- Extensive Program Management experience
- Extensive Mission Systems Integration experience
- Supply Chain Management experience
- Proven problem solving experience
- Experience managing all aspects of funded contracts.
- Must have a DoD Secret clearance
Required Education (including Major):
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Program Management, or a related discipline.
