As a result of continued growth, Banfield has added a Sr. Manager position to oversee its Field Support (ER) and Recruitment Teams. Reporting directly into the Sr. Director of Field Support and Recruitment, this individual will offer support on a strategic and tactical level by:
· Overseeing the implementation of P & O (Personnel and Organization) programs and processes to ensure effectiveness to maximize business performance in the areas of field support and recruiting staff.
· Managing the Field Support and Recruiting Senior Team leads, along with their associates (approximately 15), to include personnel issues, selection, termination, performance appraisal and professional development.
· Providing support to the RVP’s and their field leaders, ensuring the successful execution of Performance Management, Employment Practices, and P & O Communications.
· Engaging field leadership and influence the alignment of P & O with Operations by gaining acceptance of strategic P & O decisions.
· Offering strategic support and guidance to Field Leadership by driving P & O practices and assist with meeting short and long term goals of the Operations team.
· Assisting with the selection, development, coaching and motivation of the Recruiting team associates and Field Support associates.
· Evaluating P & O practices and trends to ensure competitive solutions are implemented throughout the markets.
· Partnering with P & O teams (Organizational Development, Compensation, Benefits and HRIS) to identify strategies in order to meet short and long-term needs, providing feedback regarding processes.
· Overseeing all legal charges and work with local legal counsel including but not limited to EEO, Attorney demand letters and Wage / Hour.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following skills and experience:
· Minimum three years HR Management
· Direct experience in HR best practices and theories providing consistent, high quality results while working within complex or stressful situations.
· Minimum seven years of professional level experience in employee relations or HR Generalist role
· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, PHR/SPHR designation highly desirable.
