A reputable MEP firm is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join their team for their Baltimore office. They would be responsible for leading the mechanical engineering designfor a large or complex project or projects, assuring that technical, schedule and hours-expended targets are met in accordance with client expectations and applicable professional standards. They would coordinate and review the work of mechanical engineers, designers, interns and CAD operators assigned to the project(s) as well as assist in mentoring mechanical engineering staff. Qualified candidates will meet with clients, project teams, code officials, contractors and others to address mechanical discipline issues and to develop effective working relationships.
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, fire suppression or automatic control systems in an A/E or MEP consulting firm,
· Proficiency in AutoCAD 2002 / 2005,
· ME or AE degree from an accredited college,
· PE registration.
· LEED AP preferred.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Experience using Outlook and Microsoft Office (or similar software).
Compensation will commensurate with experience and a great relocation plan is available for out of town candidates.
