Job Description:
Responsible to serve as Mission Assurance (MA) Lead within Advanced Concepts and Technology (ACT) and Advanced Product Center (APC) business areas representing the customer's best interests, assuring effectiveness through out the product life cycle from systems design through post delivery support to ACT and APC. The MA Lead is the interface to ACT and APC for Mission Assurance. The MA lead will assist, support, and help the business meet its overall performance as a part of the business area including the Corrective Action Board for ACT and APC. As a member of the ACT, APC and MA leadership team, this person will work with business areas and individual program managers to provide necessary leadership, mentoring, and business process guidance to help ensure programs meeting customer / end user objectives for Mission Assurance.
This position may be located in Dallas, TX or El Segundo, CA. El Segundo is preferred.
Basic Qualifications:
-Minimum 12 years related experience in aerospace or related industries with experience in managing a diverse business portfolio including Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations, Program Management, and/or Quality and additionally Six Sigma
-Proven experience and performance with primary aspects of product line including development programs, design, manufacturing, integration, test, delivery, and/or support
-Must have seasoned experience and expertise in leading others, collaborating and influencing across boundaries

Existing Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
-R6 Sigma experience
Required Education (including Major): Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
