Sr. Software Engineer/Team Lead

At Daugherty, the Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for:

Providing a senior-level contribution to a team responsible for the design, development and implementation of critical business applications using the .NET Framework 2.0/3.0 and SQL Server technologies. Define the integration between proposed development projects and existing systems, software and hardware. Work in a collaborative development environment, providing assistance and technical guidance to include working with Business Analyst team members to diagnose and resolve complex defects identified throughout testing phases.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years as a Web and/or Software Developer using the Microsoft toolset.
  
• 3+ years of C#.NET, ASP.NET/VB.NET experience
  
• Experienced with SharePoint/MOSS and SQL Server 2005. Experience in database design and development. 
  
• 5+ years of Object-Oriented Programming, including strong working knowledge and solid experience with UML and design patterns
  
• Solid knowledge of Industry Standards, Frameworks, and Design Patterns (.NET Framework 2.0/3.0, Winforms/Webforms)
  
• Full SDLC, processes and formal methodology experience (RUP and Agile Development a plus).
  
• Systems integration experience with web services and .Net Remoting
  
• Cross platform experience with Java a nice to have
  
• Excellent Consulting, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills are essential

Education:

• B.S. or higher degree in MIS, Business, Computer Science or related area
  
• Microsoft Certification as an MCSD, MCAD, MCDBA a plus
