Job Description

Location- Shell Puget SoundRefinery -Fidalgo Island, Wa.

Position- 4 month Contract possible extensions

Project is is based around upgrades at Shell Puget Sound Refinery, which includes:

1-Patches

2-Anti Virus (Most is Symantec (Norton's) AntiVirus and some is McAfee AntiVirus)

3 Security Policies

• 3-5 years experience with enterprise level network design and administration. Associates Degree in technology preferred.

• Preferred Certification: MCSE- But not a must have.

• Experience with Microsoft products including current and later versions of: Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, ISA and the Office suite. (DO NOT NEED EXCHANGE or ISA).

• Experience with the following technologies/platforms: UNIX, NT, LAN/WAN, system management tools (DO NOT NEED UNIX, NICE TO HAVE ONLY)

• Strong communication skills

Windows Server and Workstation

Time Synchronization
Backup and Restore, data and station imaging
Backup media handling
Physical Security
Antivirus
Patch Management

• Coordinate and implement network software and hardware upgrades (hubs, bridges & routers.)

• Assist in supporting an AD environment, internet, intranet, and other data communications systems.

• Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.

• Coordinate equipment installation, relocation, and removal. Plan the infrastructure for the network
• Install and configure TCP/IP
• Resolve host names with WINS and DNS
• Automate and centrally manage address configuration
• Implement and manage remote access


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Preferred (But not Required) Certifications: MCSE and/or CCNP/CCDP

• Good understanding of WINS, DNS and DHCP
