Sr. Network Enginer- Cisco Voice over IP
APEX Systems, Inc. is seeking a qualified VOIP Analyst for an exciting opportunity in the St. Louis area.  The Sr. Network Analyst will design, administer, and support the Cisco VoIP solution in a multivendor environment that involves interconnecting with legacy solutions. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of local and wide area networks and its associated various layer 3 and layer 2 protocols. Duties also include creating and updating VoIP and Infrastructure related documents in a timely manner along with effectively addressing all the network and VoIP related trouble tickets within SLA. Position requires an Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field. CCVP Cisco Certification or other similar VoIP certification is preferred with a minimum of 5 years experience with data and voice (VoIP) network engineering. Formal technical training from Cisco and/or equivalent job experience in VoIP systems and technologies along with the ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot all versions of Cisco Unified Communication, Cisco Contact Center, and Cisco Unity Voicemail. The position requires strong technical knowledge of all the following networking technologies and products: DSL, DS1, DS3, Ethernet, Fiber Optics, and Copper Cabeling. Also knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols and features : TCP/IP, WLAN, MPLS, RFID, VOIP, QOS and various IEEE LAN/WAN standards.
