Perform a series of skilled but sometimes repetitive operations requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity. Must have ability to do machine set-ups and adjustments and solve routine operating problems. Requires ability to understand and verify specifications and evaluate product quality. Ability to work independently and make decisions with little supervision, do setups in area, experience with measuring devices and small precision parts. Demonstrate hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Ability to understand and communicate (speak, read & write) in English.



Job Funcation: Set-up changeover, troubleshooting and operation of Ultravit Probe Engine Assembly Machine (EAM), Automated Probe Assembly Machines (PAM I & PAM II) and all Probe Demco stand alone wedges, maintain department floor stock and requisitions of materials, assess quality of finished product and insure adherence to specifications



Tools/Machines: Automated UltraVit Probe Engine Assembly Machine (EAM), Probe Assembly Machines (PAM I & II), stand alone Demcoo wedges, interface control panel and PC labview software and micrometer



Minimum Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent



Minimum Experience Requirements: Two years internal or Four years external experience in machine operation, set-up and/or troubleshooting working with similar equipment and/or processes OR 4 years of Alcon experience in a manufacturing position working with the same process/products as the Sr. Operator II position requires.



Work Schedule: Sunday night - Thursday night 10:30PM - 6:30AM; Training on 1st shift
