Technical/Functional Skills

:

-           5+ years of relevant Oracle DBA Experience on  Oracle 8i/9i/10g

o          Support, administer, optimize and maintain prod and Non-Prod databases.

o          Provide support of maintenance, and monitoring of Oracle databases

o          Database Creation/ Cloning concepts.

o          Oracle Import and Export Concepts.

o          Provide support of Oracle backups

o          Provide database capacity planning

o          Provide database space management and monitoring

o          Provide Oracle schema management for Database objects

o          Evaluate/enforce database requirements w.r.t. service level agreements ("SLAs")

o          Develop/coordinate/support system implementation notices for "SLA" impacted database changes

o          Oracle Performance Tuning skills

Experience Required

Interact with Support teams in ticket resolution activities

Examine and evaluate technology vendors and/or their hardware/software solutions for strategic fit into architectural framework.

• Participates in planning sessions for highly complex or critical systems with clients, business analysts, and team members.

• Provides technical guidance based on business and industry knowledge

• Provides recommendations on system options

• Performs Capacity planning

• Identify potential risks and impacts on the enterprise systems/cross-functional processes

• Architect and design solutions involving one or more interdependent technologies.

• Understands and accommodates the interdependencies of other architecture disciplines.
