Sr. Oracle Financials Developer

The Squires Group is looking for an experienced Sr. Oracle Financials Developer for the implementation, configuration, troubleshooting and testing of Oracle Financials modules and vendor interfaces.  Evaluate user requirements, draft technical designs, code and implement changes.  Lead role in problem resolution and systems analysis to meet business and user requirements.  Undertake enhancement projects to expand the use of the system for greater business benefit and/or changing business processes to better leverage system functionality.


 


Job Responsibilities include:


 



  • Configure and enhance existing Oracle modules in production, working with users and project team

  • Maintain and support extensions to Oracle system and vendor interfaces, with a focus on Financials

  • Work closely with systems administrators and users to work through system issues and processing questions to resolve such issues quickly and efficiently

  • Work with Oracle and other support partners to log and resolve issues

  • Work with DBA and project team on patch planning

  • Generate and track Oracle TARs, as necessary

 


 


Job Requirements include:


 



  • Experience and working knowledge of Oracle Financials modules including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, iExpense, AME Workflow,  iProcurement and Purchasing

  • Ability to analyze system configuration settings, parameters, and data in order to troubleshoot system issues

  • Ability to maintain and troublshoot Oracle Work Flows, Alerts and AME

  • Knowledge of finance and accounting concepts

  • Experience with reporting tools such as Noetix, Oracle FSG’s and Hyperion

  • Experience with FTP puts/gets as well as ACH files

  • Excel skills

  • In depth PL/SQL skills regarding Financial/Interface tables on Oracle 10g

  • Ability to communicate with both technical and functional audiences

  • Five years or more of relevant experience

  • Experience with Oracle Applications 11.5.8 and higher required

  • Has served as the Lead for at least one or more module implementations
