Sr. Paragon Clinical Applications Analyst

We consolidate and leverage the IT resources of our hospital customers, combined with our detailed IT processes and procedures and best practices, to provide improved IT services, expertise and costs for all of our hospital customers.


PHNS is currently looking for a SR Paragon Clinical Applications Analyst to work remotely or onsite at Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, ID. This position will work with end users, I.S. staff, and vendors to provide the application expertise and department specific work flow knowledge necessary to build and implement the McKesson Paragon Clinical Application suite including the Nursing and Ancillary modules.    The position will also be responsible for supporting these applications post-Live and will include the potential for implementation support at multiple facilities.  



Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.  R.N. degree preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in supporting McKesson Paragon Clinical applications in a healthcare environment required, hospital experience preferred
  • Knowledge of and access to PCs. MS-Windows, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Understanding of general healthcare business processes
  • Expertise in the business operations of the Customer business unit (s) that they represent
  • Recognized leader by their peers
  • Familiarity with change management
  • Must possess appropriate systems application experience
  • Must possess the ability to think critically, assess input on system changes and develop/suggest possible solutions to identified and potential problems
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to respond to, serve, and train customers
  • Must possess a current Driver’s License
