Sr. Pricing Analyst

Title: Senior Pricing Analyst
Location:  Morristown, TN

Position Summary:

A Senior Pricing Analyst provides high quality pricing leadership and bid support for CMS. This position evaluates pricing strategies, identifies financial risks and offers pricing and costing recommendations to cost estimating, pricing, sales and product management teams. The senior pricing analyst must be familiar with all CMS released products and pricing tools. Other duties include bid analysis and preparing profit and loss statements on bids for upper management. This position requires knowledge of market place pricing by geographic region and by product line.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Provide bid and product support
• Evaluate pricing strategies, identifying risks and offering recommendations to senior management
• Coordinate bid reviews with appropriate levels of management
• Analyze and develop pricing frameworks for CMS products
• Analyze and assist in developing pricing tools for CMS products
• Ensure bid review participants understand the Bid Review Process
• CMS Product knowledge
• Work on pricing projects that deploy common processes globally
• Implementing Price Increases in NOL
• Consult on WOT (Web Ordering Tool) as required to insure the specification gathering process for custom products is current and accurate for CMS products globally
• Customer contract negotiations/recommendations on non standard terms and conditions
• Provide pre-release product pricing support

Track and maintain pricing information
• Create and maintain discount schedules
• Update bid activity in major bid database
• Monitor list prices and maintain and update transfer price and pricing frameworks
• Provide pricing feedback to Marketing
• Management reporting (Price Erosion)
• Collect and disseminate competitive pricing information
• Monitor and update pricing tools
• Ensure that bid information is captured in the bid database

Basic Requirements:

7-10 years business experience within the paper industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Marketing
Solid Communication Skills

Preferred Requirements:

Planning, Marketing, Accounting, Cost Estimating, Contract Management
Knowledge of Printing and Converting Papers and Printing Processes
