Position Summary: This job requires a highly motivated and innovative individual with a proven track record to lead Anti-Tamper (AT) design and implementation across multiple Raytheon Missile Systems programs. Responsibilities include leading technology innovation and pursuit of new programs that benefit Raytheon and customers in the Department of Defense. Customers include USAF, USA, USN, USMC, AFRL, and other USG acquisition agencies. Candidate will work with current and potential customers to understand their requirements, and determine cost-effective solutions to meet their needs. This candidate will ensure programs are executed to meet or exceed those requirements. Candidate will develop and implement strategy to grow business in key areas. Required Experience & Skills : - Ten years of relevant experience in the fields of computer technology, reverse engineering, or AT - Leadership in the development and business growth of AT technologies. Technical management experience overseeing technology throughout the entire life cycle - Experience in solutions meeting Special Access Programs / Special Access Required (SAP/SAR) system requirements - Demonstrated knowledge of a broad array of program protection concepts, reverse engineering tools and techniques, failure analysis, and cryptography. Detailed understanding of and experience in engineering security solutions for Government customers. - Understanding and capability of directing ASIC development, hardware architectures (including digital signal processing) and system concepts. - Candidate must exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness. - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with coworkers, suppliers, management, and customers in a team environment. - Group management skills, leadership skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to develop and present comprehensive technical briefings. - Experience contributing in a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to technical problems. - The candidate must be able to act independently to uncover and resolve issues, and possess excellent verbal, written, and leadership skills. Degree Requirements : Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Science, or Robotics Desired Experience & Skills : * ASIC development, automatic control, technology development, data fusion, experience in understanding and implementing DODI-S-5280.28. Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions): - Lead research and development tasks including proof of concept prototyping, experiment and demonstrations of capabilities. Create and develop original ideas into new projects that contribute to RMS' AT strategy through the effective use of independent research and develop (IRAD), cooperative research and development (CRAD) contracts, and other sources of funding. - Provide leadership for cross-company/enterprise efforts by contributing to technical project management of tasks, schedules and costs, including developing plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans. Keep senior management informed on major accomplishments, issues and concerns. - Pursuit and capture of new business initiatives in the AT area - Direct technology efforts in micro-devices, subsystems, and systems - Consult and assist program line management with AT architectures and issues - Assisting programs in developing plans and executing those plans - Developing top-level system requirements, and flowing down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystems - Creating and directing new AT technology and system concepts for weapons Security Requirement: Must currently have or be able to obtain a DoD issued Secret Security Clearance, with ability to obtain Top Secret. DoD Top Secret clearance desired with current SSBI within last 5 years. U.S. citizenship is required for purposes of obtaining clearances. Additional clearances may also be required from the DoD.
