Position Title: Sr. Process Engineer (Zeolite Catalyst Manufacturing)
Location: Beaumont-Port Arthur, Texas

Position Description:
The Senior Process Engineer identifies opportunities to improve and optimize zeolite catalyst manufacturing operations. This includes process troubleshooting, problem solving for complex technical issues, and driving improvement within operations through technical contribution and innovation. As a member of the global technology organization, this engineer also assists in new catalyst technology development, implementation, and commercialization activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Resolve process issues and optimize catalyst manufacturing process performance and increase manufacturing capacity and capabilities.
- Contribute to building the organization's knowledge of zeolite catalysts and catalyst technology
- Assist in new product/process technology development
- Lead commercialization of new technology developed in the global technology organization and R&D labs
- Adapt process technology from other sources (e.g. refining) to catalyst operations
- Lead technical teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Assess and support the operation of third-party catalyst tollers and laboratories
- Provide mentoring to less experienced technical professionals
Background Requirements:
- BS degree in Chemical Engineering
- Extensive process engineering experience in zeolite catalyst manufacturing operations
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in catalyst manufacturing technologies, including ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data from commercial plant operations
- Demonstrated achievements in improving catalyst technologies and manufacturing operations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated track record of effective leadership in a team environment and ability to manage multiple tasks and delegate as appropriate
- Ability to provide technical mentoring to less experienced chemical engineers
