Position Description:

The Senior Process Engineer provides support to the Process Engineering team for the development, fabrication, control, and maintenance of the processes used in the manufacturing of Flexible and Rigid-Flex Printed Circuit boards by:

• Developing and implementing new processes through use of Design of Experiment (DOE) and Project Management techniques.
• Maintaining and optimizing current processes.
• Evaluating new equipment used in the fabrication of FPC and Rigid-Flex.
• Characterizing new materials.
• Profiling and qualifying new equipment.
• Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.

The Senior Process Engineer may lead a group of engineers and technicians and may provide training to production level personnel.

Required Experience/Education:

• B.S. Chemistry/Engineering or related advanced course of study.
• Minimum 5 years experience in FPCB/Rigid-Flex processes and manufacturing; such as laser, drill, lamination, soldermask, covercoat, coverlay, and photolithography. 
• Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Required Skills:

• Must possess solid leadership skills.
• Must be an energetic, innovative, and independent thinker.
• Must demonstrate proven ability to work effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Must demonstrate excellent knowledge of tools such as: SPC, DOE, FEMA, TQM, and Lean Manufacturing.
• Must possess excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing complex projects while meeting demanding deadlines with knowledge of MS Project is a plus.
• Knowledge of injection molding, UV molding, polymer materials, and decorative plating is a plus.
