- 7 - 10 years solid, hands-on experience as an Process Technician in an injection molding manufacturing facility
- Solid supervisory experience in a process environment
- Specific technical experience:
- Serve as technical expert for injection molding matters including injection molding machines, auxiliary, and processing
- Injection Molding (Set-up / Quick mold changes / Operation / Process)
- Project management skills
- Large tonnage presses (up to 3000 tons)
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Minimize equipment downtime
- Experience with:
- RJG
- Scientific Molding
- Husky Y Cincinnati Milacron
- ABB
- Ranger Robots
- Solid supervisory skills
- Success working in a fast-past injection molding manufacturing environment
- Strong problem solving skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Solid computer skills
- Results-oriented

Include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Serve as technical expert for injection molding machines, auxiliary, and processing
- Partner with the Sr. Process Engineer to oversee projects
- Oversee Process Techs and the Mold Change group
- Set-up injection molding presses, molds, and automation processes
- Use strong problem solving skills to troubleshoot mold machines, auxiliary equipment, and processes
- Reconfigure molds on presses
- Minimize equipment downtime
- Identify defects and make adjustments
- Support production schedules; perform quick mold changes
- Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with facility guidelines and procedures
- Using strong understanding of plastics and processing of plastics, troubleshoot injection molding processes to identify and rectify production issues
- Minimum 7 years hands-on experience as an Injection Molding Process Technician in an injection molding facility including the following specific experience:
- Technical expert for injection molding machines, auxiliary, and processing
- Injection Molding (including Tech skills / Set-up / Process)
- Large tonnage presses
- Injection Molding Processing
- Set-up / Quick mold changes / Operation / Process
- Promote a safe working environment in compliance with facility policies
- Minimize equipment downtime
- Troubleshooting injection molding equipment
- Strong problem solving skills and detail-oriented
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Solid computer skills
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
Associates Degree (related technical field)
