Senior Product Manager, Retail Customer Experience Buying Experience As a key member of the Retail Customer Experience Buying Experience team, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and impact Amazon's global retail initiatives, our products and strategy. You will be driving large scale detail page initiatives, with a direct and visible impact on Amazon 's bottom line. In this role you will be responsible for developing business and product requirements, writing product specifications, driving the detail page product development schedule from design to release, making appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, and clearly communicating goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to cross-functional project teams. The position will require working closely with the business and category managers, software development and site design on product development and business requirements. You will also be responsible in part for managing business relationships through a release cycle as they relate to the products and services developed. Above all, candidates must have excellent product acumen and project management skills coupled with a passion for business, technology and delivering the best customer experience. Ideal candidates will have an MBA and/or a Computer Science or Information Systems degree or five years equivalent demonstrated work experience, great analytical skills, strong business judgment, superb communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to resolve conflicts and set priorities, and outstanding customer insight.
