Sr. Product Q&R Engineer

Key areas of responsibilities: 

1)       Product/package qualification projects.

2)       Managing of product quality and reliability (Q&R) issues.

3)       RMA analyses of customer returns for assigned product line.

4)       Work extensively with validation and reference platforms to understand RMA issues and product quality/dpm issues.

5)       Manage product related quality issues at subcontractors (fab/assembly/test).

6)       Generate/drive/manage process improvements and corrective & preventive actions both internally and at subcontractors for assigned products.

7)       Participate in quality audits within Zoran.

Required Experience/Skills

Technical Skills:

• Hands on experience in qualifying semiconductor products and certifying manufacturing technologies. Very good understanding of semiconductor reliability testing, and related failure mechanisms (fab and package related).
• Very good understanding of semiconductor failure analysis techniques and methodologies. Hands on experience a plus.
• Must have very good understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes (fab and assembly)
• Must have strong Statistical Analysis skills
• Highly Skilled with PC Applications: (Std apps: MS-Word, MS-Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project, etc.)
• Basic user of Unix network & Workstations
• Past experience using reference and validation platforms will be a plus.

 Education:  BS, Electrical Engineering

Years Experience:  Five to Seven years
