Sr.Production Scheduler-Information Technology

Roundy's Supermarkets Inc., one of the nation's premiere food retail companies, is looking for a Sr. Production Control Analyst to be located at its home office in downtown Milwaukee. Company-owned and operated supermarkets include Pick ‘n save stores and Copps Food Centers in Wisconsin and Rainbow Foods in Minnesota.


 


REQUIREMENTS:


·         BS or BA degree in computer science or related field is preferred but not essential when there is comparable practical experience.     


·         One to three years of experience in a ZOS and Open Systems environment responsible for scheduling. 


·         Knowledgeable with products in the area of mainframe and open systems / application production scheduling (Control-M).


·         Some application design and development preferred, but not required.


 


RESPONSIBILITIES: 


·         Lead the design and development of enterprise strength batch processing workflows.


·         Responsible for the implementation and support of all mainframe and open systems production scheduling throughout Roundy’s enterprise.


·         Develop batch processing service level agreements and implement management and monitoring to these service level agreements.


·         Participate in the development of performance monitoring of open systems servers.



  • Review daily production processing schedules for completeness.

  • Communication and management/support of all mainframe and open systems/applications production scheduling problem management throughout the enterprise.

  • Recognize potential areas where existing production scheduling policies and procedures require change and/or the creation of new practices.

  • Communication and management/support of all technology change management affecting mainframe and open systems/application administrative security and production scheduling.

  • Develop, test and maintain disaster recovery processes for all mainframe and open systems/application production scheduling identified in the Business Impact Analysis (BIA).

  • Participate in specific cross-functional teams as assigned, in effort to implement mainframe and open systems/application administrative security and production scheduling standards.
