We have an immediate need for a Sr. Program Manager / Project Manager - Financial, Costing, Inventory

Contract Opportunity - Initially 7 months
Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
15+ years of Project Management
1) End to end costing and cost estimation methodology for each segment of the value chain (from design to source to manufacture to delivery/logistics to service/return).
2) Financial definitions and policies that are needed to define inventory, to value inventories, and to financially control inventories - GAAP knowledge essential.
3) The inventory valuation process from raw material through customer acceptance (preferably in the telecom industry).
4) Ability to recommend financial definitions and policies that are needed to define inventory, to value inventories, and to financially control inventories.
5) Ability to make recommendations for the best approach to value inventory for a telecom solutions industry.
6) Understanding of physical inventory control (physical inventory counting).
It is preferable that the candidate have a background within the telecom industry and with Oracle, as the client uses an Oracle ERP system (Oracle ERP 11i)
