Reporting to the Manager of Financial Systems, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing program specifications, coding programs, problem resolution, system maintenance, and testing independently and with the assistance of the applications users.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Gathers data for preparation of specifications and time estimates for systems development.
• Gathers information to aid in problem determination/resolution and prepares required documentation for vendor resolution.
• Prepares written test plans and documents test results.
• Prepares new/modified processes for production environment including but not limited to documentation, job scheduling, and report distribution.
• Codes, prepares test data, tests, and debugs programs.
• Participates in major upgrades to packaged software.
• Works with end users to develop best practice business processes.
• Participates or Leads training on business functionality for system end users
• Can coordinate or lead all or portions of technology projects.
• Provides after business hours systems support as parts of the IT on call rotation.
• Follows SOX change management and production system access guidelines

Knowledge and Experience Guidelines:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field or comparable business/technical experience or equivalent.
• Five years of experience of application development experience.
• Retail or Direct to Consumer systems experience or proficiency.
• 3-5 Years experience with financial systems.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• At least 5 years experience with

  • Kronos
  • MS/SQL
  • PL/SQL
  • Crystal Reports / Business Objects

• Optional Experience:

• Oracle / APEX
• VendorNet/Extol
