In This Position:
In this role, you will:
- Conduct and manage research and development of technologies and products in the system restoration area.
- Plan and direct schedules and monitor the budget.
- Organize and facilitate conferences and workshops to gather industry input.
- Collaborate with vendors, universities and interdepartmental technical staff.
- Provide services to EPRI customers.
- Develop innovative research ideas and service opportunities that fit EPRI’s mission.
- Communicate research strategies and results to EPRI members
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a master’s or PhD degree in power system analysis and in particular system restoration (preferred)
- Has a minimum of four years of related experience (preferred)
- Has strong technical expertise in the system restoration area
- Is computer savvy, including familiarity with MS Office suite
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills
- Possess excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Has impeccable communication, writing and presentation skills
EPRI participates in E-Verify, an online system operated jointly by the Department of Homeland Security and the Social Security Administration (SSA).
