Sr. Project Engineer (Systems Administrator)
Pay: $26-36ph DOE
Schedule: 8am-5pm Monday through Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Description of Duties:
This position is responsible for project migrations and upgrades. The Sr. Project Engineer will work with the customer to determine requirements and recommend and implement solutions for the client’s needs. The Sr. Project Engineer should be abreast of current trends and technical solutions in order to provide up to date recommendations. This position may also act as a team lead or escalation point for other engineers. Travel for projects is required occasionally
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 years of background in workstation and server installation, configuration and management. Candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, problem identification and be able to implement resolutions where possible. Experience assisting end users with Microsoft business class software. Experience with VMware, Windows Server 2000, 2003, and 2008, Exchange 2003/2007 required. Proven network repair and diagnostic skills, knowledge to deploy fast workarounds to technical problems and offer permanent solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Candidate demonstrates dedication and commitment to providing continuous operations for customers. Works unsupervised and shows pronounced characteristics of ownership and motivation.
Desired Certifications/Qualifications:
VCP, MCSE, MCP, MCITP desirable.

Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up 50 to 75 lbs.
