Reporting to the Program Director, Program Delivery and Strategic Planning, this position is located in Princeton, N.J. and is responsible for managing IT project teams including end user and third party provider activities pertaining to the design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation of IT product and services, spanning applications and infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Under general supervision, develops and implements assigned projects, from original concept through final implementation, and be the single point of contact.
- Manages financial, scope, and critical path for assigned projects.
- Manages the financial, time and resource aspects of project against a set budget and project plan.
- Coordinates status reports, and stability of the project work effort; assemble project plans and teamwork assignments.
- Manages and monitors work efforts daily and identifies resource needs; perform quality review; escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues, as appropriate.
- Tracks key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or key resources to meet customer needs and requirements.
- Coordinates communication with all areas that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the project.
- Performs as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent.
- Develop and create project plans, schedules, and manage project teams.
- Utilizes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Provides informal guidance and support to more junior team members
- Serves as liaison between team members and sponsoring functional department
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Contributes to the strategic direction of the client group(s). - Demonstrated problem solving and negotiation skills. - Strong interpersonal relations and overall communication skills - Possesses high-level knowledge and proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques. - Able to oversee multiple projects, sometimes including larger and more complex projects. - Experience in a decentralized metrix environment - Project manager experience / PMO certified

Requirements:
Education: Four (4) year degree or equivalent experience with a high concentration of experience delivering IT projects and / or services MBA preferred
Experience: 8 - 10 yrs
