Sr. Project Manager - Web
Job Description
Modis is seeking experienced Senior Project Managers for one of our industry leading clients located in the Philadelphia suburbs. Our client desires to hire this candidate on a contract to hire basis with a contract period of 3-6 months before conversion. Local candidates are preferred, but candidates open to relocation at their own expense will be considered.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead project teams to deliver multiple, simultaneous projects that span across several business or technology areas.
- Will be expected to effectively manage resources, schedule and quality of deliverables through the full project life cycle.
- Will have accountability for the successful delivery of multiple, simultaneous large projects.
- Must have experience working with use case specifications, UML models and a variety of project management methodologies. Ability to follow the Rational Unified Process (RUP) using the Rational tool suite would be of benefit.
- Candidate should have extensive experience working in a relationship management, business analysis and resource management capacity. Ability to interact, direct & influence cross-functional teams that span the organization
- Self-motivated, decisive with strong communication and organizational skills.
- The project manager must ensure quality deliverables and have the ability to execute under accelerated timeframes while adapting to changes in priorities and scope.
Required Experience & Skills:
- BS or MS in a computer-related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience of seasoned, full life-cycle management of large scale technical projects
- Demonstrated ability to lead within multiple business and technology organizations
- Prior involvement with high-visibility projects and managing multiple projects concurrently
- Experience with Project Management Tools (i.e., MS Project, MSCentral, PMOffice, etc…)
- Project management certification (PMP) strongly preferred
- Professional Services or External Client Facing Experience required
- Managed teams of 15-20 resources at any given time
- Experience managing projects related to front-end web redesign, web/UI design is required.
Added Skills Include:
· Working knowledge of Agile Methodologies
· E-commerce experience
