AdvanceTEC is a design / build construction firm specializing in cleanrooms and laboratories constructed with modular architectural components. To meet the growth of the company, AdvanceTEC is seeking a Project Manager to assist in the management of projects located predominantly in the eastern US and with contract values ranging from $50,000 to $10,000,000. Reporting organizationally to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager's responsibilities will include:
Day to execution of all aspects of projects assigned to the PM
Develop fully integrated project schedules that include both construction and engineering. Update the schedule as required.
Develop subcontractor packages and manage the subcontractor buy-out proces
Develop and maintain cost report, project forecasts
Develop monthly client invoices and approve vendor invoices
Coordinate the issue of RFPs, track vendor responses
Coordinate vendor submittals, and expedite submittals as required
Coordinate the material buy-out on the project, including the RFP process
Maintain project meeting notes and transmit to all parties as required
Generate the required project documentation as per the Documentation Requirements in the AdvanceTEC Project Execution Manual.
Assist AdvanceTEC management with proposal generation as requested.
Assist the Field Supervisors as required with construction issues.
Interface with clients verbally and in writing
Travel regularly to project locations to participate in client and subcontractor meetings or to help resolve construction issues.
Assist in project start-ups
Job Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
10 years minimum experience in a Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry. Cleanroom experience a plus.
Experience managing engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects preferred but not necessary
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited Construction Management or Engineering program
Previous exposure to pharmaceutical and micro-electronics industry projects including cleanrooms is a plus
Ability to work safely at our offices and at on-site project locations
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Scheduling Software and email
Position is based in Richmond, VA but will require regular travel (normally 2-3 days per week) to job-sites located primarily in the Eastern US.
