Temp to Perm opportunity for a Sr. QA Process Engineer.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:
• Overall responsibility for the development of quality systems. Assures compliance to ISO 9000:2000  by implementing a structured quality assurance program. Works with a high level of autonomy to assure adherence to written quality operating procedures.
• Designs, installs and evaluates quality assurance process sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques; designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; analyzes production and service limitations and standards.
• Recommends revision of specifications when indicated; formulates or helps formulate quality assurance policies and procedures.
• May conduct training on quality assurance concepts and tool.
• This position interfaces with all other process owners within the company on quality related issues.

Process and Metrics
• Reviews current departmental processes
• Interface with department process owners on process improvement initiatives
• Assist quality teams in resolution of internal quality issues
• Establishes quality metrics throughout the corporation
• Proactively formulates strategic quality improvement plans
• Creation and delivery of process quality training throughout global organization

Qualification/Skills/Experience Requirements:

Education:
• BS Degree in Quality Assurance, Electrical, Mechanical, Technology or related technical field

Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years Quality Management experience
• Established and exhibited understanding of Quality Operating Systems.
• Exhibit strong knowledge of ISO procedures/Audits, Statistical Process Control and Six Sigma
• Completed the CMMI Introduction 1.2 (3) day course – is a plus
• Government Secret Clearance – is a plus

Licensures, Certifications:
• Six Sigma (Green Belt) a plus
• Certified Quality Process Analyst a plus
• 20-25% travel required.
