We are seeking a talented Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer who will plan and perform quality assurance engineering projects that are highly complex in nature. You will have project responsibility for developing and maintaining engineering quality standards for components and processes across product lines. You will assist groups by defining component requirements, and defining vendor related problems. You will als make design change or specification change suggestions to correct production problems and field reliability problems. Consider joining our team!
 

:

a. Review new product designs or changes in existing designs.
b. Develop and maintain quality standards for processing materials.
c. Devise and implement methods and procedures for inspection and evaluation.
d. Design and/or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment.
e. Conduct quality assurance tests.
f. Perform statistical analyses to assess cost and determine responsibility for materials or products that
do not meet required standards and specifications.
g. Coordinate with manufacturing to assure that quality designed into product is maintained in
production.
h. Assist purchasing department in establishing correlation between specification sheet parameters and
vendor testing techniques.
i. Investigate and analyze field failure data to identify and improve reliability.
j. Analyze rejected parts from receiving inspection when vendor correlation is required or when vendor
data does not correspond with receiving inspection's data.
k. Analyze high failure rate components that cause production problems.
l. Prepare written reports as required, and perform other related duties as assigned.

SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS REQUIRED:
a. Apply extensive technical expertise as a generalist or specialist.
b. Full application of principles, theories, and concepts.
c. Requires considerable creativity and ingenuity.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics with minimum of 5 years experience in Electronic
Instrumentation or Mechanical Design and Electrical Design or equivalent combination. Project
responsibility is desirable.
