RBC Transport Dynamics in Santa Ana, the leader in self-lubricated bearings for aerospace and industrial applications, is searching for a hands-on, experienced senior level Quality Engineer to join our team.

This individual will be responsible for:

·        QE support of Prime Customers for first articles and corrective action;

·        Reviewing contracts, specifications, purchase orders, and planning;

·        Planning and implementing quality initiatives throughout the organization;

·        Recommending, reviewing & approving changes to manufacturing plans & drawings based on customer requirements;

·        Managing & tracking MRB & RMA’s;

·        Initiating, reviewing,  & revising the Quality Manual & policies/procedures in accordance with AS9100 requirements;

·        Performing internal & external audits;

·        Participating in RCCA investigations as required;

·        Assisting with training of the employees in regards to the Quality System;

·        Assist in supplier quality support and development.

Ideal Candidate:

·        Individual must have a minimum of 5 years:

·        Experience developing and implementing AS9100 rev B & AS9102;

·        Working knowledge of FAA/PMA;

·        Experience working with customers such at GE, Pratt & Whitney, Boeing, etc.

·        Hands-on working knowledge of ASME 414.5;

·        Experience with Plating, Heat Treat & Welding Processes;

·        Prior experience in representing the Company to customers on-site or at the customer is essential;

·        Strong written and oral communications skills;

·        Ability to travel to customers and work flexible hours as necessary;

·        Working knowledge of Microsoft office products;

·        Practical experience in precision inspection equipment and calibration

·        Knowledge in aerospace materials

·        Bachelor’s degree in a related field is desired but not required.
