About the Job

The Position:


Sr. Quality Engineer

A leading edge medical device manufacturer has an immediate need for a talented Sr. Quality Engineer with primary responsibilities being for assuring overall regulatory compliance to the QSR and applicable Quality System standards. This instrumental position will work directly with Manufacturing and Engineering to assure quality considerations are adequately covered in the design, testing, and release of materials, components and completed products. This position will participate in internal audits, supplier audits, and be part of the assessment process by external parties. This person is expected to function as a problem solver, capable of analyzing problems and implementing root cause elimination solutions.


 


The selected individual will likely have the following profile:


The Requirements:


* Bachelors degree in engineering and and Quality cert. (i.e. CQE).


* 3-7 years of professional Quality Engineering experience.


* Experience in within an tight tolerance injection molding or automated assembly manufacturing facility.


* Direct experience in reducing process variance and other Quality practices including: TQM, ISO, Six Sigma.


* Conversant with current computer skills and competent utilizing probability and statistics.


* Self confident individual with strong desire for personal and professional growth.
