We are currently seeking a Research Associate specializing in immunologically based assays to support our new biotechnology lab in Greenfield IN. As a Research Associate in this group you will:

- Analyze samples and/or develops/validates methodologies for various compounds and components in compliance with appropriate SOPs and regulatory agency guidelines.
- Document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.
- Independently set up, maintains, operate and perform routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment, including problem identification and resolution.
- Suggest and performs modifications to test methods or procedures where precedence exists.
- Support the implementation of startup priorities, systems and SOPs for the biotechnology group
- Provide input and participates in project meetings, plans, monitors and guides project work.
- Serve as primary analyst on projects.
- May interact in external client communications.

Experience:

- Experience in a high throughput regulated environment strongly preferred.
- GMP compliance experience helpful.
- Broad based technical experience and demonstrated ability to learn is required.
- This is a hands on position.
- Prior experience in the analysis of Biotech/Biopharmaceutical products using immunolgically based techniques.
- Prior experience with ELISA and binding assays
- Hands on experience in the performance of immunologically based assays.

Education:

- BS/BA degree in science or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry.
- 4+ years of scientific experience relevant to the performance of immunologically based analysis of pharmacologically active compounds.
- Technical role in a regulated biotechnology and or biopharmaceutical setting.
