Biomechanical R&D Engineer
Our client is a multinational medical device company headquartered in the Silicon Valley. They have engaged us to find their next Biomechanical R&D Engineer. This newly created position will:
- Conduct independent research of medical device product performance
- Develop product prototypes
- Conduct benchtop and computer simulation studies of product performance
- Design, build, and operate test equipment
- Analyze and interpret data and perform study protocol documentation
- Identify areas for product improvement
- Initiate feasibility studies

Required education and/or experience:
- BS in Engineering (MS is preferred)
- 2-6 years experience in product or prototype development in the medical device field or equivalent.
- 3D modeling using SolidWorks or equivalent.
- Labview or equivalent
- FEM modeling (ANSYS preferred).
- Fundamental statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of rapid prototyping processes preferred.
- Clinical experience a plus.
