* Develops research proposals to provide a technically and economically sound basis for developing and evaluating new or improved products, synthetic methods, processes, and analytical and physical testing techniques.
* Recommends utilization of the results or changes in the scope of work or termination of projects.
* Conduct formulation research activities including candidate formulation development on assigned projects and programs.
* Plan and conducts experiments to desgin and develop stable, comfortable, efficacious and globally preserved formulations.
* Conduct solubility, stability, excipient, preservation and packaging compatibility studies for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients
* Utilize routine and non routine instrumental methods to identify superior formulation, and investigate formulation issues
* Comply with corporate policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines
* Prepare Technical Reports summarizing formulation studies
* Conducts exploratory research for developing new ophthalmic, nasal, and otic products; conceives, organizes, promotes, and executes ideas and plans to increase formulation's role in and contribution to the market approval.
* Develops research proposals to provide a technically and economically sound basis for developing and evaluating new or improved products.
* Conduct formulation research to improve solubility, stability, bioavailability, comfort, efficacy, and toxicity for drug molecules
* Develop ophthalmic, nasal, and otic formulations with added value for marketable product.
Minimum Education Requirements and Experience Requirements:
* Doctorate degree within the scientific/technical discipline and 1-3 years of applicable experience
* Masters degree within the scientific/technical discipline and 6-7 years of applicable experience
* Bachelors degree within the scientific/technical discipline and 10 years of applicable experience
