Sr Secretary

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Under general supervision and acting on own initiative, performs diverse secretarial and administrative duties within given department/unit. Assignments may involve work of a confidential nature and require knowledge of practices and procedures. Position handles differing situations, problems, and deviations in the work of the office according to the general instructions, priorities, policies and program goals. May also direct the activities of lower level clerical staff. High School diploma or equivalent and three to five years of previous secretarial experience required.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical records.  Experience coordinating an administrative calendar and setting up meetings with various staff members preferred.  Experience with technical minute taking that involve medical terms and trends in data preferred.  Candidates must be self motivated with a focus on detail.  This position will require flexibility to accommodate early morning meetings.



Required Skills:

  • Three to five years of previous secretarial experience required
  • Must have experience and be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio.
  • Experience with technical minute taking that involve medical terms and trends in data preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
