SCOPE:

·        Development of software to run on Client’s line of Carrier Ethernet Switch/Router and Multi-Service Edge Router products.

·        Projects involve adding new software features (such as IGMPV3, MPLS and Ethernet OAM enhancements, RSTP/MSTP, VPLS enhancements) as well as performance and scaling enhancements to existing features on Client’s products.

REQUIREMENTS: 

·        Software design, documentation, implementation, and testing in areas such as BRAS and IPTV protocols and features, IP routing and MPLS features, low-level hardware support and device driver work, and system and security features.

·        Most software development will be done in C++. The ideal candidate will possess a BSCS degree (Masters preferred), strong C++ coding skills, object oriented design skills and knowledge of data structures and algorithms.

PREFERENCES:

·        Practical experience and knowledge of data networking technologies such as IP, Ethernet, DSL, PPP, and DHCP would be advantageous.
