QinetiQ North America/3H Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with at least 8 years development experience. Successful candidate will be involved in developing enterprise solutions as part of a large software development team. Candidate will work closely with software engineers and other QC members to successfully test and assess ongoing development within demanding schedules.

• Candidates will participate in various phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, specification generation, application design and software coding.

• BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Problem-solving, goal-oriented, willing to learn, with good coding skill and engineering intuition.
• Positive attitude toward work and other people, team player.
• Excellent verbal and written communication ability.
• Candidate must successfully pass a government background investigation. (Previous background investigation (NAC) or clearance is a plus)
• OOA/OOD knowledge with at least 8 years experience with J2EE technology.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise software development architectures, patterns and best practices.
• 8+ years experience with UML.
• 8+ years experience with J2EE frameworks and full life cycle N-tier software development from conceptual design to implementation including the following technologies:

*   SQL

• Practical understanding of general persistence technologies including EJB or ORM technologies.
• Experience with one or more industry standard Java IDEs - Eclipse, IBM Rational Software Architect, WebSphere Application Developer, Borland JBuilder, JDeveloper.
• Strong understanding of relational database architecture.
• Experience with CM process and version control tools.
• Experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP) desirable.
• Experience with Spring, JSF, MyFaces highly desirable.
• PL/SQL programming experience desirable.
