business and have a need to add to their experienced development
staff. Projects will consist of next generation development of core
client applications and updates of existing product line.
Responsibilities:
Work independently and as part of the development team to assist in the
design, development, and implementation of core applications. Duties
may include independently gathering and interpreting requirements, code
and modify components, document, verify/test code, and assist as
needed in evaluating ongoing new technology direction. Core
projects will center on web application development using ASP.NET,
AJAX, jQuery, Silverlight and SQL server (Windows 3.5 framework).
Qualifications:
- Strong skills in personal communication, critical thinking and problem solving.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, work under pressure, and deliver on time.
- Proven ability to turn ideas and concepts into well-designed code world class code.
- Experience with multi-threaded, high availability, globalized software.
Strong understanding of current desktop development, web technologies,
web-development life cycle, and object-oriented programming practices.
Proven professional track record using .NET (2.x, 3.0-3.5),
including ASP.NET, Web Forms, Win Forms, XML, Silverlight, AJAX,
Silverlight, JavaScript, jQuery, Team Foundation Server- Strong database skills
- Any applicable experience with Agile methodologies and full SDLC
An individual active in blogging about technology, writing professional
articles/books, or otherwise contributing to the technical community
at the highest level of education and performance.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Certifications a plus, MCSD, MCAD, etc. but not mandatory
