Primary responsibility will be Verification/Validation system testing of real-time embedded inertial systems for aerospace applications. The position will be responsible for creating, executing and documenting manual and automated test scripts. Skills in requirement definition, traceability and a structured software process are essential. Candidate must have experience in C programming, MATLAB and SIMULINK. Additional languages are a plus. Activities will lead to software qualification responsibilities including testing summaries, documentation generation and customer interface. Expertise with the operation and performance of inertial sensors and inertial sensing systems in aerospace applications would be useful. Experience with aerospace application of inertial systems and the assessment and improvement of system performance will also help the candidate be successful. The candidate needs a positive can-do attitude. The position is part of a multi-function engineering team where outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are desired.
At least a bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program/institution and ten years of relevant experience. A master's or doctoral degree is preferred.
