HNTB is currently seeking qualified candidates to serve as Structural Engineer in our Westbrook, Maine office. Job Description: The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for providing technical expertise and oversight of bridge design projects, detailed structural engineering designs, and preparation of bridge contracts for construction. This individual will help supervise, schedule and check work of project team members and will work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. Individual shall be responsible for maintaining good relationships with clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering
Licensed PE
Minimum of 10 years bridge design experience (MaineDOT bridge
design experience is desirable)
Strong project management, and communication skills
Good understanding of practical construction aspects
