ENSCO, Inc. has a requirement for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) with an ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE to plan and coordinate day-to-day security operations and associated administrative control of classified information systems. Participate in the development of classified computing and security systems, processes, and procedures; edit and proofread documents for compliance with security classification provisions.
Tasks to be performed include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Determination of possessor or classified information that a prospective recipient in the interest of national security has a requirement for access to, or knowledge, or possession of the classified information in order to accomplish lawful and authorized Government purposes.
-Support the office in the development of classification guides.
-Review and administer security-related and/or export control contracts and programs with external government and/or business entities, as appropriate to the position.
-Maintain and coordinate use of security software database
-Manage and maintain highly sensitive and/or classified documents in computerized and/or hard copy forms
-Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Qualification Required
-BA degree at least 8 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
-Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
-Skill in the security of computerized systems and databases.
-Experienced in troubleshooting classified client/server hardware and software issues.
-Knowledge and understanding of Federal Government security classification procedures and standards
-Organizing and coordinating skills
-Ability to supervise and train assigned staff
-Ability to make administrative decisions and judgments
-Ability to plan, organize, implement, and administer complex recordkeeping systems and procedures
**ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED**

Qualification Desired
-BA with law enforcement or criminal justice degree
-Knowledge of basic fiscal management, accounting procedures and related documentation
-Facility Security Officer Course, Security Managers Course
-DCID 6/3 and NISPOM Chapter 8
-Knowledge of PeopleSoft or SIMS
