Sr Subcontracts Administrator in our National Security Sector!!
Fairfax, VA 22033

SRA is seeking a Senior Subcontract Administrator who can support various projects within SRA's National Security Sector from cradle to grave: pre-award activities to project close out. A major focus of this position is to increase our competitiveness through effective subcontractor management early in the procurement cycle, as well as improve cash flow. This Senior Subcontract Administrator will need to be able ability to work independently. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Prepare and submit pre-award documents to subcontractors during the proposal process.
  • Initiate, negotiate and manage subcontract agreements.
  • Maintain fully documented, ISO and CPSR compliant files.
  • Analyzes estimates of service, material, equipment, and production costs.
  • Reviews performance requirements ensuring subcontract is in accordance with legal requirements and customer specifications.
  • Ensure subcontract compliance and ethical business practices consistent with SRA policies.
  • Works with various contract types, including but not limited to: T&M, FFP, and IDIQ
  • Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships
  •  

  • Requires 6 - 9 years of government contracts experience (will consider candidates with a combination of experience in contracts, subcontracts, business analysis, pricing, and proposals)
  • Requires working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
  • Excellent verbal and written communications are a must.
  • US Citizenship is required
  •  

    Desired-

  • Experience with ISO and CPSR compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of cash flow and ability to reduce days sales outstanding.
  • Experience developing proposals for federal Government customers.
  • Working knowledge of Deltek CostPoint is a plus
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance is a plus
