Defense, Civil, Mission Solutions (DCMS) provides intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to DoD and International customers. In particular, DCMS focuses on three major areas: distributed common ground systems that provide tasking, processing, exploitation, and dissemination of ISR information; unmanned ground systems that provide both vehicle and senior control; and world-wide operational support for ISR missions to include support for sensors and ground systems. Our technology focus is on special signal, data, and information processing capabilities, advanced human to machine interface techniques to improve the user experience, and net-centric capabilities that enhance user collaboration.





Job Description :



Performs as a technical advisor for a Distributed Common Ground Station located at Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, Texas





*** Existing TS/SCI Clearance required





Performs a variety of system administration duties associated with monitoring and controlling UNIX computers processing classified and unclassified products. Performs system integration when system upgrades or new systems are installed. Provides system and applications support and training for system administrators and operators as well as assisting the customer in developing local procedures for system management. Administrative operations include performing installations, configuration changes, upgrades, system backup and restore, troubleshooting, user account administration, and capacity planning. Additional tasks include assisting the customer in planning and performing preventive maintenance on the operating systems, repairing system/network problems, and system scheduling. Individual may be required to work overtime.





Required Skills:



Requires knowledge of Solaris Operating System, UNIX shell language, host-client relationships, network design and configuration, and DTS/CIES system.







Desired Skills:



DCGS Block 10.1/2 Legacy CIES system administration knowledge, system administration.



Experience with the following software applications: VPC Server and Client, IPL Administrative Client, IESS Client, Quick Query (Q2), SOCET GXP, IWS, Info Workspace, TMAN, DCMIL, Solaris 10, ZFS, LDAP, IDM, Weblogic, Sun Clustering.









Required Education (including Major):





BS in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Math, Physics or related Engineering field. Equivalent experience in lieu of education will be acceptable.
