Sr. Technical Program Manager

GameHouse is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to help develop the latest platform technologies that drive some of the most popular casual games in the industry. Work in one of the fastest growing markets in gaming with one of the most fun and exciting teams in the industry.
As a Program Manager for our online, social offerings, you are core to the culture of creativity, and productivity of the development team. The ideal candidate will have a solid history of shipping and supporting after launch large volume high availability online services; be able to gracefully balance schedule needs with creative imperatives; push for quality and innovation while managing both budget and time.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions: % of Time
1. Develop product plans in collaboration with other teams within the RealGames universe. - 25%
2. Collaborates with development and operations in order to prioritize, develop, and release in accordance with regular service release schedule. - 50%
3. Collaborates with development and operations in order to prioritize, develop, and release in accordance with regular service release schedule. - 25%
QUANTITATIVE MEASURES:
Hitting measurable and achievable quarterly objectives as it relates to Gamehouse's and RealArcade's strategy. Be responsible for delivering games on schedule and producing a positive ROI for the year.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Minimum:
- At least 4 years experience in Program Management or a related technical field.
- A clear history of project ownership, managing internal and external dependencies, understanding complex technologies, and creating and managing software release processes to effectively deliver service products online.
- Strong organization skills and metrics driven thinking.
- Excellent communication and project management skills as well as a passion for Internet server technologies.
- Technical experience with UNIX, HTTP, SOAP, XML, SQL, security issues, and networking topologies is preferred.
Preferred:
- At least 8 years experience in Program Management or a related technical field
- Direct experience with SOA and distributed systems is preferred.
- Experience developing software in Java
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is preferred.
Education, Certification, and/or Training::
Minimum:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is preferred.
Preferred:
- MS in a technical field
Experience:
Minimum:
- 4-8 years Program Management experience
- Experience in Games or consumer facing online product.
Preferred:
- 8+ years Program Management experience
- 4+ years experience in gaming industry
- Product management experience with casual games or on-line downloadable games
- Experience with project management tools
