Sr. Training Specialist

JOB SUMMARY:

 

  • Consult with all levels of management to identify Retail, Home Office and North American Delivery business performance requirements
  • Partner with business units to support improvement process
  • Partner effectively with internal clients and proficiently manages client expectations
  • Identify performance gaps and recommend appropriate training solutions
  • Create training program materials, including design documents, project plans, leader’s guides, participant guides, media, evaluations and tests
  • Develop scripts for satellite broadcasts and videos. Manage post production work
  • Design and develop new web-based training programs or convert existing training to a web-based format
  • Manage training design and development project teams comprised of internal and/or external team members
  • Deliver management, professional and procedural training programs to Home Office, North American Delivery, and US Retail audiences while meeting or exceeding established standards

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 4 – 6 years experience
  • 5+ years experience in the training field, including sound knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, facilitation, and methods of evaluation
  • Strong experience in design, development and performance consulting required
  • Experience in managing outside vendors in the development of training programs
  • Experience in design and development of web-based training solutions
  • Strong ability to write in many different styles and formats
  • Excellent platform training skills required
  • Experience with sales and management training
  • Experience in creating effective internal partnerships
  • Ability to influence business partners and outcomes
  • Consistent demonstration of accuracy
  • Experience in successfully creating top quality work under aggressive timelines
