Bestica, nation’s leading User Experience Design staffing firm, is seeking a Sr. User Experience Designer to lead our client’s initiative on entertainment platform (Television). You'll be responsible for leading the design of new mobile products from initial concept through to final deployment and the potential rewards are massive; your design used and enjoyed by an enormous number of people all over the world.

This role reports to the EVP of Product Marketing.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

·         Define the user interface for Television applications via delivery of wireframes, mock-ups, design specifications and graphical assets

·         Collaborate with the product management, business development and engineering teams on use cases and business requirements to craft user interfaces

·         Ensure designs fit within the technical & UI frameworks of various mobile platforms

·         Multi-task multiple product lines across different platforms, devices and languages

·         Evaluate the usability of existing and new products to provide constructive ideas for change

·         Coordinate usability studies with researchers and translate findings into product improvements

·         Ensure product designs align with overall brand guidelines

Skills & Experience:

·         Considerable interaction and interface design experience across mobile platforms, ideally iPhone, Android and/or iPad

·         Outstanding body of work demonstrating high quality, innovative deliverables and an exceptional understanding of fundamental design disciplines & principles

·         You MUST have a strong portfolio which demonstrates both quality of work and approach/process to your designs

·         Deep understanding of UI Guidelines for prominent mobile platforms

·         Ideally can create prototypes for internal and external testing

·         Enjoy working in cross-functional teams (e.g. project managers, software engineers, marketing personnel, etc.)

·         Super attention to detail and can hit deadlines

·         Strong experience presenting and collaborating on design

·         Must be very proficient comfortable with the Adobe CS suite of tools.

·         Video editing/compositing, 3ds Max, Omnigraffle are all beneficial.

·         Ability to understand basic technical concepts as they relate to UI design
