This is a 6 months contract opportunity at our customer site, a leading company in Salem, OR 97301.
Job Description:
The Application/Software Engineer IV will supplement the projects for the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Program. The projects will change based on the Agency business needs and priorities. The Contractor will be expected to provide expert analyst and technical and development services that include:
-Provide technical services in support of applications within the ODOT ECM environment.
-Participate as developer on new ODOT ECM projects developing software applications within the ODOT ECM technical environment.
-Define the technical and functional requirements to complete a construction specification for components.
-Participate in software application migration activities from FileNet 3.5.x to 4.5.x.
-Perform unit, functional, and integration test cases.
-Resolve application errors.
-Participate in software component peer reviews as needed.
-Meet regularly with project teams.
Required - Advanced Level.
--IBM/FileNet P8 platform (Version 3.5, or higher), ArcGIS Server 9.3 JavaScript, and/or Flex APIs.
--2-4 years' experience with JSP, Websphere 6.1, JBoss 4.01, Web Services, & Tomahawk.
--Experience with AXIS 1.4.1.
--2-4 years' programming experience developing web applications with client/server architecture.
--2-4 years' programming experience in a J2EE or .NET environment.
--Strong oral and written communication skills.
Desired Intermediate Level:
--2-4 years' programming experience with ASP.NET
--Experience working with FileNet components, such as, BPM Workflow, Records Manager, Content Collector, and Document Capture.
